Fatou Camara likes to keep her love life out of the spotlight, but earlier this week the famous journalist announced she is engaged and set to remarry.  

Taking to Facebook, she wrote: "It is official, I’m engaged! Alhamdulilah!" 

But who is Fatou's fiancé and when did they get engaged?  

A source close to the Fatu Network boss disclosed that he is a Switzerland-based Gambian from Tobacco Road in Banjul.  

"He's a young man in his early 30s, who is well-known in Banjul. He is married, but his wife lives in The Gambia," said the source who begged for anonymity.  

Speaking about her husband-to-be, Fatou, who is currently in the USA, told her Facebook followers: "My fiancé, just like me, is a very private person." 

The pair are planning to tie the knot in The Gambia.
