A naked picture of USA-based Gambian model, Yama Faye ( Fayer) has recently caused a stir online. A Gambian Facebook group posted the picture questioning the model’s decision to pose nude.

Some of her fans came to her defense, urging her to ignore the ‘saboteurs’.  Last week, the model wrote on her Facebook page: “Life is too short to waste any amount of time on wondering what other people think about you. In the first place, if they had better things going on in their lives, they wouldn't have the time to sit around and talk about you. What is important to me is not others' opinions of me, but what's important to me is my opinion of myself.”

Meanwhile, there are rumors spreading in town that Fayer’s well-publicized marriage with popular singer, Jali Madi has ended.  According to reports reaching us, the two celebrities are no longer a couple. When we contacted her, she refused to comment saying: “Tell them Fayer said she does not talk about her private life with the media.”
