FBNBank Gambia hosted its customers to an engagement forum at the Ocean Bay Hotel, Cape Point on the 19th October 2018. This forum provided an opportunity for Group Executives of First Bank of Nigeria, visiting with its MD/CEO, Dr Adesola Adeduntan to interact directly with FBNBank Gambia’s customers with the aim of gaining first hand insight into their dynamic business and personal financial needs and be able to devise solutions to meet these needs.
The Managing Director of First Bank Group and Subsidiaries, Dr Adesola Adeduntan, leading the group of dignitaries, reiterated the position of First Bank as the second largest Bank in Sub Saharan Africa. He thanked the customers for their sustained patronage and emphasized the strategic importance of doing business with them and also having a foothold in The Gambia. Dr Adeduntan, equally appreciated the support of the Central Bank of The Gambia. In his words, “we are irrevocably committed to this franchise and we will do everything that is required to keep this franchise going and operating at the level that we are well known for.” He reminded the customers of the importance of dialogue as their feedback will enrich the Bank’s strategic planning process as it continues its quest to provide excellence in service to all its esteemed customers.
The customers in turn expressed satisfaction in dealing with FBNBank Gambia but also discussed their needs and expectations for their relationships with the bank to strengthen. Mr Adefisayo Adefarakan, MD/CEO of FBNBank Gambia, further renewed the commitment of the bank to understand and meet the peculiar business needs of all its customers and looked forward to strengthened ties between the bank and the business community.
Customers and dignitaries that were present at the engagement forum also graced the official commissioning of the new FBNBank Head Office at 38 Kairaba Avenue, , which took place on the same day.
