Fireman says marijuana made him a better person

Fireman has reassured his fans that there’s nothing wrong with being a weed smoker.

During a recent show in Lamin, the country’s numero uno reggae DJ told reggae enthusiasts that weed, which is still illegal in The Gambia, teaches you a lot about yourself and the world.

“Ganja we smoke, and we don’t abuse it. You understand? We say Ganja over cigarette.”

Fireman disclosed he started smoking weed 23 years ago.

“Me burn it from 1995. Not now! It keeps me humble.”

The famous DJ also told his fans that most of the western-educated legal practitioners in the country are liars and that’s why they are locking young people up for smoking weed.

“They lock the youths because of one joint. Fireman burn that!”

Fireman is among the many prominent Gambians who are pushing for the legalization of marijuana in The Gambia.
