It has been a very long time since she has been linked to any guy. And now rumours are spreading that she could be a lesbian.
On Friday, a seemingly miffed Jemay Bah took to Facebook to tell rumour mongers to shut up and leave her alone.
She wrote: “To clear the air to my fellow journalists, who may be contacted and people who look up to me, I just want to say I am straight.”
Some of her followers were quick to jump to her defense saying she is a young woman with high moral values.
Ousman JC Darboe said: “Some people are f*cking stupid. Stay strong sis!”
Former Daily Observer sports editor, Nanama Keita added: “Silence is sometimes the best answer to some stupidities.”
Jemay, who now lives in the US, was a beautiful journalist that caught the eyes of even the country’s Interior Minister, whom she had married.
