Frankie Paul makes rare television appearance on BNL

Frankie Paul made a rare television appearance on Banjul Nightlive (BNL).

The reggae dancehall legend, who was entirely out of the spotlight lately, stopped by the weekly entertainment show to promote his upcoming album, In the Arena.

“I have a new album coming out called In the Arena. We got some fantastic tracks,” he told presenter Afrodeezy Njie.

Frankie rose to fame in the 1980s and was one of Jamaica’s most successful music exports.  Some of his hit songs included Sarah and Walk Away From Love.

He moved to The Gambia shorty after President Jammeh came to power. The blind singer is a huge fan of the Gambian leader.

According to Frankie, he is still actively involved with music.
