A young Gambian woman was among a new batch of barristers who were called to the Nigerian Bar yesterday.
Bobo Bah, a former student of the University of The Gambia, was called to the Bar, following a ceremony attended by members of the Nigerian legal fraternity.
She broke the news on her Facebook page with photos from the ceremony with the caption: “Alhamdulilah, Thank you Allah, Thank you Mum and Dad for believing in me. Thank you everyone. Yes I have made it, Barrister And Solicitor Of The Supreme Court Of Nigeria.”
“Congratulations and I wish you all the best in your next step. May justice be your fulltime comrade throughout,” commented one Faks Touray in England.
Another Facebook friend, Bob Huma wrote: “Congrats at its highest level I know we spoke but just so you know I can’t say this enough. Am very proud of you babygirl.”
Congratulations, Bobo!
