Gambian writer Modou Lamin Age-Almusaf Sowe is set to launch his debut book in March 2023.

The Throne of The Ghost (a play), was published in the USA in 2016 by African Books Collective (ABC) and Malthouse Press Limited, Lagos, Nigeria.

The Throne of The Ghost (ISBN 9789789497133) is the book that ignited Sowe’s writing career in 2014, as the book continued making waves across the globe, and was listed by the Pan-African Writers Association (PAWA) as the book of the month in May 2022.

Sowe was awarded the Subscribers Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest 2021 by the Winning Writers in the USA and the African Literature Award 2021 by the International Association of African Authors and Scholars (IAAAS), based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
