Gee, who now goes by GEEbril, is continuing his streak in making music history. His new self-titled EP has broken an iTunes record for the most streamed Gambian EP by a Gambian rapper in a single week.

The Pipe Line-born rapper told What’s On-Gambia: “My new EP is focused on love life lessons packaged in up-tempo songs with flows that highlight elevation from my previous work; This, accompanied by both traditional and internationally inspired beats.”

According to Gambian music enthusiasts, GEEbril is the most authentic and innovative EP in GEEbril's collection so far, and it garnered the calibre of interest the rapper needed. It wasn’t only his fans who were paying attention; it was everyone.

People who previously doubted his future in the music industry did a swift heel-turn.

Meanwhile, GEEbril is going on a nationwide tour. Accompanied by Ydee, the tour will take him to all the regions of the country.
