A German beggar, who has been thrown out of many Asian countries for illegal begging and spending the money on alcohol and prostitutes, has recently got married in The Gambia.

Benjamin Holst, who suffers from a rare form of gigantism called macro dystrophia lipomatosa which caused his leg to swell severely, tied the knot with a young Gambian woman she met while on holiday in the country.

In a Facebook post, he wrote: “Gambia very friendly country. Never more Asia only Gambia.”

His new wife’s name is still unknown, but according to a Bachelorhood/Single Status Certificate he shared online, she’s from Brikama in the West Coast Region.

Known worldwide as a professional beggar, Benjamin travels around the world to beg, while uploading Facebook posts about staying in expensive hotels, drinking in bars and hiring prostitutes.

His exploits have caused him to be deported from Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia.
