Here is why ST is  not allowed to perform in the USA?

The Gambia's leading rapper, ST is currently in the USA for the first time but will not perform at any events during his visit.

A source disclosed to What's On-Gambia that the "Nte Borilla" hitmaker does not possess a work permit required for performances in the USA. To avoid potential immigration issues and ensure he can return in the future, ST opted to stay away from the mic.

"The embassy might be monitoring his activities, so he wants to avoid any actions that could jeopardize his chances of returning. Most of his family live in the USA," said the source.

Foreign artists are required to obtain a temporary work permit visa for any kind of performance, whether paid or unpaid, in the US.

Despite his inability to perform, ST has expressed his positive experience in the USA through social media. On Facebook, he wrote: "Can't lie, USA been good to me. I love and appreciate y'all."

One of his fans commented: "Don't come back without meeting Dr. Dre. That's my dream for you. Enjoy your stay, king."

Another wrote: ”Enjoy and be safe. Haters keep hating while you keep winning."
