How dare you, Africell! Mam Mallen exposes What’s On-Gambia reporters

Chei Gambia! Mam Mallen a.k.a Blackashine is the golden girl of the nation. It is no accident that she is widely admired by young Gambians. Please Mam, stop working for the ruthless money making devil, Africell.

Salaamaalekum!

Na ngeen deef? Lu bees nak? Forget about the caption and the intro, we just want to take some time out to thank all of you for your continuous support since we started in December, 2012. What’s On-Gambia is still in its infancy – ndanka ndanka rek!

At What’s On-Gambia, we work as one team with the purpose to serve our readers. You are the centre of everything we do and we will continue to work hard towards ensuring that we meet your expectations. Always visit the website, and don’t forget to tell your friends to like us on Facebook.

To our haters:

Those boys and girls, who think everything BIG in The Gambia should belong to them or their friends.

Thos boys and girls, who like presenting themselves as the only shiny snowflakes in the country.

Thos boys and girls, who bugga wonewu torop.

They can’t make us fakastalu – we’re too grounded for that. What they failed to understand is that Gambians are getting ‘sick and tired’ with their misery and envy.

The World Wide Web has enough palass, and Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook is open to everyone – why not start your own and show us how to do it?

“You guys brought something new in the country, and Gambians are gradually warming to it. I see nothing wrong with it. Our neighbors, Senegal has lots of Media outlets like yours. Keep it up and ignore the hypocrites,” a veteran journalist wrote to encourage us.

Remember our doors are always open, and we encouraged and welcome your feedback. Write to us on Facebook (inbox) or send us an e-mail at [email protected].

Meanwhile, Cher Lloyd is one of our favorite British female singers. That girl has swag. In her first single, Swagger Jagger, she rapped: “You can’t stop looking at me, so get up my face, you can’t stop clicking at me, writing ‘bout me, tweeting ‘bout me……..”
