Humanity Starz have performed their first major concert on Tobaski Day without the band’s nightingale, Sandeng.

According to fans that attended the concert at Jaama Hall, Kairaba Beach Hotel, Sandeng’s absence didn’t stop the boys from giving a ‘dope’ performance. There was a lot of love for them.

They took to the stage with fans screaming, and were offered praises immediately after the concert.

The band’s manager Mbye Bittaye thanked the crowd for their support. According to him, their intention is to represent The Gambia in the international music scene.

Commenting on Sandeng’s departure, he said Allah has reasons for everything.

Sandeng, who was among the founding members of the band and the only female vocalist, left Humanity Starz after embracing the hijab.

Her boyfriend, Modou Joof Garmy is still part of the band.
