A husband has accused an Immigration officer at the Immigration headquarters in Banjul of ”following” his wife.
In a message to What's On-Gambia, he wrote: "Please, tell the Immigration officers in Banjul to be serious. One of them is texting my wife. I have all the evidence."
He continued: "This Immigration officer should be warned. I am serious. He needs to be warned if not I will expose him."
But the man later wrote: "I called him and sent him all the evidence I had. He begged me to forgive him and promised to never do it again."
At the Immigration Headquarters, sometimes, they help women get their passports without delay in exchange for sexual benefits.
