Four students in Ndungu Kebbeh Basic Cycle & Senior Secondary School were allegedly impregnated by their teachers, according to information reaching What's On-Gambia.
A reliable source, who begged for anonymity, disclosed the students are in Grade 11 and one of them is her cousin.
"My uncle is very worried and sad right now," she said.
She continued: "This nonsense in our schools must stop. I was told the matter was reported to the regional education office in Kerewan, but they want to brush it under the carpet and move the teachers to other regions."
When we contacted the principal of the school, Mr Babou Faye to find out more about the case, he angrily responded: "I am on holiday. I don't respond to social media. If you want information, you can come to the school and find out."
He added: "I am new at the school and I cannot respond to such things. Come to the school and find out."
The students are said to be between 17 to 19 years old.
