Introducing one of Gambia’s finest female event hosts

20-year-old Marie Jeng, a 3rd year Law student at the University of The Gambia, is regarded as one of the finest female event hosts in town.

 She recently co - hosted the TAFCON2018, Ranha-Bisaap Comedy Show and the Miss West Africa International.

 At a very young age, Marie engaged in advocacy and public speaking – she won the accolade for the most outspoken member young person in the media in 2013.

 The former SOS Hermann Gmeiner head girl also added to her trophy cabinet the 22nd July  beauty pageant winners award and also won the first ever poetry competition organized by the American Chamber of Commerce and subsequently winning the Ambassadors Debate Championship.

 Marie is currently working for Safe Hands for Girls and also serves as the project manager for the Pan African Female Youth Leaders, Gambia Chapter. She is also the program assistant for Salimatou Foundation for Education (SaFE).

 In June 2018, the popular host attended the Women Ambassadors Forum in the USA, where she was saluted for her role in women empowerment.

 Marie is a close friend of popular TV presenter Fatou Ellika Muloshi.
