He’s regular and outspoken on social media, but had Saihou Camara all these while been eying a career in politics?

Well, the US-trained IT engineer is said to be planning to register his own political party and is believed to have aspirations to lead The Gambia.

A source said: “He is well connected in the country and I am not surprised he wants to enter politics.”

The source claims that Saihou wants to resettle in The Gambia after spending nearly a decade in the USA.

Who is Saihou?

He was recently named among the most influential young Gambians by What’s On-Gambia. Married with a daughter, Saihou is the founder and chairman of the famous charity, Your Change for a Change (YCFaC). 

He was the head boy of Methodist Academy and was widely adored by his peers.
