Last week marked a major milestone for the people of Jarra Soma as community members gathered to witness the official inauguration of a newly constructed ultra-modern guest house by the district chief and other local leaders.
The newly opened facility, named Kilifa Suite, is fully furnished and designed to provide guests with modern comfort, convenience, and safety.
Speaking in a Facebook post, the owner and CEO, Musa Njie, who is based in Sweden and runs the popular clothing brand Jufure, reflected on his deep connection to his hometown.
“Growing up in Jarra Soma as someone born and raised there, it has always held a special place in my heart,” he wrote. “Since I was young, I’ve always had the dream and ambition to ask myself: what can I give back to my community?”
He added that through years of hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance in business, he was able to create something meaningful that can help generate opportunities for the younger generation, community development, infrastructure, and tourism in the provinces.
“The goal is bigger than us. Africa will only be developed by Africans themselves. Brick by brick, slowly but surely, we will continue building and developing our beautiful continent together,” he stated.
The project was successfully completed with support from the real estate company Kerr Finder.
