Bakau-born singer, Jizzle has become one of the richest Gambian musicians after pocketing more than D3m from his weekend concert at the Independence Stadium on Saturday.

Sources closed to the Turn by Turn hit maker revealed that over 20,000 excited fans thronged the stadium to watch him.

Sharing news of his incredible achievement, Jizzle wrote on Facebook: "Thanks to God, my team, my family, my manager, my gang, the whole Gambian music industry and my fans.  We did this together, congrats to everyone."

One of his fans, Amadou Jallow commented: "Congrats bro. You deserve every good thing coming your way. There'll be more like this in the future. Just keep on grinding harder."

Another fan, Modou Lamin Conteh also wrote: "What a wonderful performance. Proud of you, Jizzle. Your fans were very excited.  One love and more blessings from Allah."

The president of the Gambia Music Union, Gee said: "I don't know any artists who squander money. Living good isn't spoiling if your priorities are straight and you handling your responsibilities."
