A driver, who lives in Kotu, has been arrested for allegedly fathering a 3-year-old child with his eldest daughter he repeatedly raped for more than five years. 

Modou Bah, commonly known as Manjai, began abusing the victim (name withheld) when she was a minor, threatening her with violence. He was arrested over the weekend after neighbors reported the matter to the police.

A source disclosed: "He wanted to rape another daughter and she told neighbors, who then quickly informed the police.”

Manjai was arrested and detained at the Kotu Police Station. During preliminary investigations, it was discovered that he impregnated his first daughter twice. The first pregnancy was secretly aborted.

"Everyone thought the daughter was impregnated by her boyfriend until when she confessed to police that her father is the father of the baby," said the source. 

Manjai's wife, Nyima Sambou, who lives in the same home with her husband and daughters, told police that she was unaware of the abuse.
