Maimuna Gibba, the young woman arrested for allegedly stealing D20 million from a safe in a Tallinding compound, paid D117,000 for a two-week stay at a renowned hotel in Senegambia.

Maimuna reportedly checked into the hotel on Tobaski eve, after allegedly committing the theft.

A source revealed: "Following her arrest, police visited her hotel room and found a significant amount of money under the bed. They also discovered three newly purchased smartphones."

The source further mentioned that a brand-new human hair wig, costing thousands of Dalasis, was also found in the room.

CID officers, led by one Jallow, confiscated all the items and money, taking them to the Bundung Police Station as part of their investigation.
