Mallam creates fake Facebook page using Fatou Touray’s name and photo

Internet fraudster Mallam has created a fake Facebook profile using famous journalist Fatou Touray's name and photo to dupe and extort money from social media users.

After seeing the fake page, the Kerr Fatou boss quickly took to her Facebook to inform her followers that she's not a member of Mallam's online squad.

Many of her followers including former Gambia Press Union president, Sheriff Bojang Jnr found it very hilarious that the Ghanaian fraudster used Fatou's photo and name to lure Gambians into trusting him.

US-based writer Natta Mass jokingly wrote: "Jeh, you're into Mallam business too?"

Another follower commented: "So now you are working with Mallam."

Meanwhile, in an interview with Ghanaian journalists, Mallam claimed he has only one Facebook account bearing the name Naatia Salifu One. He said many people are using his name to scam unsuspecting social media users.

According to him, he has never engaged in fraud.
