Miss 22 July, Haddijatou Hydara has vehemently denied rumors that she had secret trysts with Syrian-born Africell boss, Raafat Al-Ahmar.

Rumors reaching What’s On-Gambia claims that the beauty queen wants to start a romantic relationship with wealthy Raafat.

“Rafaat used to follow Haddijatou anywhere she goes and he tells everyone he knows how he feels for her,” said our source.

According to our source, the winner of the last Miss 22 July beauty pageant prefers men that are fair in complexion.

As The Gambia is fully aware, Rafaat is engaged to popular business lady, Haddy Faye. But there are reports emerging that the couple are having a rocky relationship.

In an interview with What’s On-Gambia, Haddijatou, who is also known as Jamila, said: “I’m not dating Rafaat. I have nothing to do with him. I don’t know his girlfriend. It’s a lie and I don’t know who is spreading it.”

Miss 22 July is currently working with GRTS, where she co-presents the program, What’s Up.
