Ebrima Sarr was left heartbroken and in tears after his fiancée, Zena, ended their engagement during the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé UK. The emotional moment was watched by thousands of viewers across the UK and beyond.
The breakup came during a video call, when Zena, a British pensioner, explained why she could no longer continue the relationship.
“The reason I’ve called you is because I’ve been doing a lot of thinking,” she told Ebrima. “We come from different cultures, we live so far apart… I’ve decided to break off our engagement. I wouldn’t be able to marry you or stay engaged to you. I think you should find someone your own age.”
Visibly shaken, Ebrima struggled to hold back tears. “I love you,” he said before breaking down. “I don’t like it that way, babe. You’re upsetting me. I don’t think I will meet someone like you. Oh babe, I feel very upset.”
Zena, though firm in her decision, expressed kindness toward him. “I am sorry for you, Ebrima, because you are a very nice man. You deserve someone nice in your life.”
