Music, dance, sports and fashion are all part of the plan for the first multicultural festival in Lamin, West Coast Region.
Expected to attract hundreds of people in Lamin and its surrounding villages, the festival aims to inspire, connect and unite.
One of the founders, Allie Kay, a British woman who regularly visits The Gambia, told What’s On-Gambia: “We have come together with the village of Lamin to bring two worlds together as one.”
According to her, the festival will be held in October 2017 on the famous King’s Road.
“It is a community project, incorporating music, dance, sport and fashion. The meeting point for anyone that wishes to be involved is the recently opened Lekkers Restaurant in Lamin.”
