Just recently more than 300 migrant disappeared in ''Mediterranean Sea'' on their way to finding so-called greener-pasture in Europe. We can't allow this to continue. Friends of Basse (FOB) is doing something about this. On March 1, 2015, FOB will launch the first of a series of events focused on bringing about awareness and the dangers involved in taking the Back way to Europe. As the region affected the most, we invite the youths of URR and all friends of Basse to join us. 

This is an invite to all URR youths and friends of Basse to the “No to Back Way to Europe” concert with the King of Kora Jaliba Kuyateh & the Kumareh band. The venue will be at Basse Koba Kunda opposite the Primary school from 8pm onwards.

Donations are set at D50.00 per person but we encourage you to donate as you wish. Funds collected at this and other FOB events will be used towards developing our community, bringing to light the dangers involved in this risky journey and helping the youths. 

We encourage our friends in the Diaspora to join us by sponsoring tickets to invite as many youths as possible. Donations can be made via PayPal at our website at www.mybasse.org.
