Princess Shygle warns girls against getting married too early

She said men eye her with affection, but are afraid of asking her out because of her beauty. But Princess Shygle is apparently not only uninterested in putting on an engagement or wedding ring, but also seems unimpressed with the increasing number of young women getting married.

The Ghana-based Gambian actress last week took to Facebook to warn girls against rushing into marriage. According to her, life in the matrimony is too much stress to handle.

She wrote: “I don't understand why so many young girls are in a hurry to get married, when there is so much more to life than getting married and having a bunch of kids with too much stress on your head and all of a sudden you see a 20-year-old chick looking like she's 50.”

Unsurprisingly, the curvy actress’ comments are not without opposition, even among her fans. One of them, Lamin Fadera wasn’t happy. He reminded the actress about the importance of marriage.

“Life is too short to devote all your life on the desire to be up to date with only fashion and jewelry. Our purpose in this word is far more apart from that,” said Lamin.

Princess however is not to be cowed. She clarified that she is not discouraging young girls from getting married.

She wrote: “Please kindly read my post properly before commenting, I never said getting married is bad; neither did I ask anyone not to get married. It’s a good thing to get married but at the right time and for all the right reasons.”

According to Princess, 80 percent of married men cheat on their wives.
