Several public schools across the country are going to close on Friday ahead of next week’s presidential election.
A reliable source told What’s On-Gambia that officials at the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has directed schools to halt session.
The break is taking effect on Monday, 28th November.
The premises of most of these schools are to be used as polling stations.
The schools were given advance notice in that effect.
