Radio presenters call on Gambians to support ST

ST has justified his record-breaking D50, 000 pay by putting up a scintillating 2016 Open Mic Festival performance that underlines the potentials in him for international stardom.

The Brikama-born star’s mind-blowing performance last weekend prompted famous radio presenters like Abdoulie Bah and Sister Njie to clamour for Gambians to lend support to the young star.

“What if Gambia invests on St Singhateh nyu bie yep si loho yallah? Dude is sick alang!!!” Bah writes on his Facebook page on Saturday.

According to him, the Respecko hit maker has everything it takes to become the county’s next music export.

For Capital FM’s Sista Njie, the Brikama Boyo is the “Open Mic killer.”

“Whiles some artists bragging about being on the list a couple of times in a row, this dude is busy killing it in a row, the OPEN MIC KILLER I call him and he keeps making the whole crowd wild out... Belie Walie Talie St Singhateh danga garaw!!!”

Born and brought up in Brikama, ST’s big dream is to travel the globe, get good songs out there that people can connect to and perform at famous venues.

According to our reporter, who was at the Independence Stadium, ST stole the show with a performance that left the crowd wowed – many claiming it was the “best performance ever”.
