Kanazu Barz a.k.a Kazion DaSufi has in the weekend arrived at the Banjul International Airport after a five year sojourn in France.

His friends and members of the Cypher Rap Movement were at the airport to welcome him.

Shortly before taking his flight to Banjul, Kanazu took to Facebook to inform his fans about his return.

“Do you think about me now and then? Do you think about me now and them? Because I am coming home again,” he said in a 13secs video showing his air ticket.

Kanazu is the only known white Gambian rapper. He moved to the country at the age of two after his French dad bagged a job at the Laico Atlantic Hotel.

In an earlier interview with What’s On-Gambia, the rapper described himself as a “modern day nomad.”
