A famous marabout in Fass Njaga Choi has predicted Mama Kandeh will be the next President of The Republic of The Gambia.

Alhagie Jim Cham wants Gambians to know that the leader of the Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC) will win the next presidential election, which might take place in 2020.

“Like it or lump it, Mama Kandeh is going to win,” he said in a video that is currently making the rounds on social media.

The marabout, who is well-respected in the North Bank Region, said many Gambians want the GDC leader as president because “they love him so much”.

If the prediction becomes a reality, then some United Democratic Party (UDP) surrogates will be moving to other parts of the world, as they promised that if Kandeh becomes president they will denounce their citizenship and relocate.
