Popular reggae singer, Royah Messenjah has won praise for featuring a dark-skin girl in his new music video, Mbeguel. 

The video, which was released earlier this month on YouTube, has garnered more than 30,000 views and more than 200 comments from reggae music enthusiasts. 

One Muhammed Jallow commented: "This song is mad!! And the video clip is classic. I like the fact that he chose a beautiful African queen who represents her true beauty and not those girls with fake hairstyles and tons of makeup." 

"I like the song and the visuals are just superb. I like the fact there is a genuine representation of ours, I mean Africa! The pretty woman in the video is also african and dark skin for that matter, just exactly how it should be," another fan wrote.  

While another added: "Thank you for appreciating dark Skin girls. Finally a video with only a dark skin girl."
