A young woman recently contacted What's On-Gambia seeking help to find a Gambian husband for her Senegalese cousin, who lives in Keur Massar, a suburb on the outskirts of Dakar.

In her message, she wrote: "My cousin has been visiting The Gambia for over seven years. She wants to have a Gambian husband. She is young, beautiful, hardworking, and serious about getting married."

When contacted, the Senegalese woman confirmed her desire, saying: "My father is from Badibou, but my mother is Senegalese. I spent part of my childhood in The Gambia. I do want a Gambian husband."

She added: "I run a business in Dakar and need someone who is understanding and supportive. Relocating to The Gambia immediately might be difficult, but it's something I can consider."
