A Guinean woman living in The Gambia has made jaw-dropping claims about her marriage to a 70-year-old Belgian man, saying he regularly brought women into their home and forced her to sit and watch as he smashed them.
Adama Awa Jallow, 32, told What’s On-Gambia that her now estranged husband, Jean Paul, turned their marital bedroom into what she described as a “nightmare stage.”
“He would bring girls into the house and ask me to sit and watch while he slept with them. He said it gave him pleasure. I felt trapped, I couldn’t say no,” Adama recounted.
The shocking revelations didn’t stop there. According to Adama, Jean Paul even slept with her own friend while she sat helplessly in the same room.
Their turbulent relationship eventually collapsed under the weight of infidelity and domestic violence. Adama said she was recently kicked out of their Brufut home and is now struggling to piece her life back together.
The pair met five years ago through a mutual friend, and after a whirlwind romance, Adama thought she had found the love of her life. Instead, she claimed she was dragged into a toxic marriage that left her emotionally scarred.
Now homeless but hopeful, Adama is living with a friend as she plans to rebuild her future.
