Musa Yali Batchilly is allegedly a sugar daddy, with reports emerging about his relationship with a Fula teenager that started when she was just 19 years old.
They kept their relationship quiet due to the age difference and to protect Batchilly's image.
According to a source, it all started when the founder of the Gambia Action Party (GAP) met the girl at a petrol station, where she was working as a pump attendant.
"It was a whirlwind romance that ended shortly after Batchilly sent cola nuts to the girl's family to ask for their permission to marry her," said our source.
When asked what ended the relationship, he responded: "I don't know exactly what happened, but I heard it ended after a date at a guest house."
The politician allegedly confronted the girl's mother, a local restaurant owner, demanding they refund his "guru nuyoo". He also insisted on getting back his D5000 that he gave the family during marriage negotiations.
"He claimed that the girl's family benefitted from him yet they didn't allow their daughter to become his wife," said our source.
The girl is now married to another man and she's no longer a GAP sympathiser.
