The Gambia’s visually impaired NAM salutes PDOIS

The Gambia’s first female visually impaired National Assembly Member (NAM) has credited PDOIS for making her who she is today.

Hon. Ndey Yassin Secka is among five NAMs nominated by President Barrow.

She told What’s On-Gambia: “PDOIS paid for my education and made me who I am today. They did a lot for me.”

Despite being nominated by Barrow, the mother-of-two has no plans to join the United Democratic Party (UDP). She vowed to remain with PDOIS and swore loyalty to its leadership.

“I will forever remain loyal to PDOIS. It’s my party!”

According to her, PDOIS is the only political party that is capable of bringing any meaningful development in The Gambia.

However, she returned gratitude to Barrow for nominating her.
