Meeting your partner on Instagram or Facebook is now becoming more common than through friends or relatives. 

But would you imagine even messaging apps like Snapchat are helping many young Gambians to find love. 

Mo and Sohna Kinteh are budding YouTubers with more than 2000 subscribers. In one of their recent videos, they revealed they met on Snapchat. 

"He slid into my dm," said Sohna, who claims to be a fashion designer. 

She added: "I used to dance on Snapchat. I used to shake that ass on Snapchat." 

The couple did not disclose when exactly they started dating, but they got married in December 2020.
