O’boy and Gambian Child have denied widespread rumours that they were arrested by the police for their controversial song, Imam.
The music video of the song has already generated more than 400,000 YouTube views since it was uploaded on the 5th November 2018.
O’ Boy told What’s On-Gambia: “We were never arrested or called for questioning by the police. It’s just rumours.”
He added:” In fact, we are about to drop another one that would be more controversial than Imam.”
O’Boy and Gambian Child are the most popular music group in the country right now. They are also one of the few Gambian musicians with millions of views on YouTube.
The duo will be launching their newest album on the 2nd February at the Brikama Box Ba.
