“We reveal a lot about ourselves on Facebook” – Fatou Dibba

The happenings on Facebook can be quite revealing, entertaining, educative and a lot of times confusing...but I must say there is so much we can learn from what people post.

If you read enough statuses and between the lines and follow what people "like" and comment on or post,....look beyond the photoshopped photos and the seemingly flawless skin, enhanced huge eyes and features....And...yes we all know about photoshop by the way...

Anyway as I was saying, you can figure out who has a high IQ and who has a low IQ. You can tell who the insecure ones are. And who the strong and brave ones really are. You can tell when someone is taunting someone, an ex-wife or husband or lover maybe etc....portraying extreme happiness rek.....you can deduct without knowing for sure who just got a divorce or broke up with someone.

You can tell who is hoping for a romantic relationship through interactions on Facebook.

You can figure out who the materialistic ones are. Those trying to be popular.....You can tell when people are not talking to one another. You can tell when someone is sucking up to someone.

You can see who is emotionally and mentally unstable. Who is arrogant, who is vain, who is fake, and who is real. A person’s political and religious views. A person’s character.

Behind the "Everything is peachy" shield, you will find loneliness, insecurity, betrayal, lies or narcissism.

You can see people desperate for attention and approval,...ratings aka 'Likes".

You see true poets. Writers, entertainers, true visionaries, fake visionaries. You see potential politicians and lawmakers who don't even know how good they are.

We certainly reveal a lot about ourselves on Facebook, most of us do. This is social media of course..do your thing...but realize not everyone judges the book by the cover ...you are being read by some, so keep it real..
