Aida Samba's husband, Abass Jarju has abruptly ended his marriage with the Senegalese star's Gambian co-wife, former banker Chilel Jeng.

Aida and Abass got married last year after a whirlwind romance. Since then, her husband's marriage with her co-wife suffered a series of obstacles. The two finally separated earlier this month, but still, continue to co-parent their two children.

"It's over between Chilel and Abass, but she still lives at his house in Salagi," said a source.

She alleged: "Aida destroyed Chilel's marriage with assistance from Chilel's own friends including a famous journalist who was always at Chilel's house in Salagi."

An audiotape was recently leaked, which contains a conversation between Chilel and a marabout that she contacted to help her save her marriage from divorce.

Our source claimed: ”The audiotape was a setup. The marabout was paid to record his conversation with Chilel. If you listen to the audio, she didn't say anything negative about her co-wife or husband. She just wanted help to save her marriage."

Abass married Aida Samba while Chilel was heavily pregnant with their second child.
