Some Gambian and non-Gambian women in Europe and American that allowed their husbands to travel alone to The Gambia for the Christmas and New Year break are now regretting it.

According to one of them living in England, she was very naïve to expect her husband to return intact.

In an email sent to What’s On-Gambia, she disclosed her husband was cheating on her with a girl who lives in Manjai Kunda.

“I am a Gambian married to a Gambian guy who was in The Gambia on holiday and we have a son together who is here in England and I am undocumented but with all that I have been doing everything I can to keep the marriage but it’s not helping because my husband was sleeping with another young woman.”

She added: “They were not even hiding it. They were all over everywhere in public places and he was spending my hard earned money on that girl.”

She further disclosed that she is currently seeking advice from her parents on what to do with her cheating husband.

Meanwhile, a What’s On-Gambia investigation has revealed that many married male semesters who were in the country this past Christmas and New Year break were indulged in flings and one night stands with girls they met at events, banks, foreign exchange bureaus and restaurants in Senegambia.
