A young woman has alleged that a Jahanka man she met on Facebook threatened to ”Korteh” her after she refused to date him.
In a WhatsApp message, the man, who identified himself as Ebrima Jabbi, warned her, saying: “Maybe you don’t know who you’re talking to. I am a Jahanka Pirr. We don’t make empty threats. My surname is Jabbi—did you hear that? I am Ebrima Jabbi.”
He continued, claiming to be “untouchable” and warned her of potential consequences if she disrespected him. “If you try me, you will have a problem. I was not only taught how to write on a white piece of paper. Try to be polite when talking to people,” he added.
Jabbi also insulted the woman, accusing her of being foolish and childish.
In response, the young woman stood her ground, replying: “If you are a Jahanka Pirr, I am also a Mandinka Pirr. I am not interested in you.”
