Sister in Trouble After Bailing Thief Brother

A young woman is reportedly in hot water after bailing her brother, Muhammed Jassey, who allegedly vanished after being released from police custody over a suspected theft case.

Muhammed was arrested for allegedly stealing a colleague’s mobile phone and withdrawing a whopping D47,000 from the victim’s Wave account.

After his arrest, the family reportedly tried to negotiate with the victim to arrange a refund. But in a bid to help her brother, his sister stepped in, bailed him out, and secured his release.

Muhammed was reportedly instructed to report regularly to the Brikama Police Station. But things allegedly took a dramatic turn when he disappeared and could no longer be found.

Now, his sister is said to be facing pressure from the police, who have reportedly given her a deadline to produce her missing brother.

A friend of the distressed woman has made an emotional appeal, insisting that Muhammed should not leave his sister to suffer for trying to help him.

“The only thing we want is for him to come forward and face the consequences of what he did, not the poor sister who has children. She just assisted him because they are the same blood,” the friend lamented.

The family is now appealing directly to Muhammed: Wherever you are, come back and face the music!

His disappearance has reportedly left his sister in a difficult position, as the family hopes he will return and resolve the matter with the police.
