The Gambia’s most anticipated hip-hop event is back! The Cypher Rap Battles returns this Saturday, June 21, ready to light up Fitzgerald Street in Banjul with electrifying bars and unmatched street energy.
Organizers of the Cypher Hip Hop Open Mic and Street Rap Battles have confirmed that the event is free and open to the public, calling on all rap lovers and music enthusiasts to come out and show their support.
This year’s edition promises thrilling performances from some of the country’s biggest names in the game, including Killa Ace and Mad Snaka. Fans of dancehall are also in for a treat, with reggae sensation Chronic Bob set to hit the stage.
Hosting duties will be handled by Olimatta Taal, CEO of Sen Ghigen Productions, alongside Banjul’s own Saidina Oumar, bringing even more flair to the event.
With hundreds of young fans expected to gather, the streets of Banjul are set for an unforgettable night of lyrical showdowns and raw talent.
