Residents in Yundum, near Yarambamba Layout, are on edge after a man was caught on CCTV pleasuring himself outside the gate of a family compound.
According to a resident, Amadou Bah, the suspect has been returning to the same spot under the cover of darkness, repeatedly engaging in the disturbing behavior.
“At first, I ignored it since it didn’t directly affect me,” he told What’s On Gambia. “But when it became frequent, I felt it needed to be exposed.”
Amadou added that when he attempted to confront the individual, the man fled the scene immediately.
When asked why the suspect may have chosen that specific location, Bah said he was unsure. He confirmed that women live in the compound but could not determine whether that was a factor.
The identity of the man and the reasons behind his actions remain unknown.
