Former national footballer Alieu Darboe and rap star Jizzle recently took to Facebook to show off their new luxury cars.

For Alieu, who is based in Sweden, his car was shipped to The Gambia before his arrival for the Koriteh feast.

He owns a BMW that is said to be worth more than D1m.

"Right choice of car. Stay safe and enjoy bro!" commented one of his fans, Ebrima Senghore.

Award-winning rapper Jizzle is also the happy owner of a BMW with a personalised number plate.

He wrote on Facebook: "Everything in life takes time."

"I respect your hustle. Keep shining," wrote one Ansuma Tamba.

Another fan, John EB Jatta also commented: "It's your time, no one can stop you."
