All set for Bai Babu’s album launch on Friday!

It’s almost here! The much-awaited launch and release of Bai Babu’s maiden album dubbed Ajj Bassa Kaw is slated for Friday.

Joluv Arts Entertainment unveils that all is set for the day. The album comprises hit songs like Fahass, Chep Bu Sew and Attitude Girl.

Having majestically whet the appetite of the Senegambian community with his heart-touching rap-mbalax flows, Bai Babu is more determined to introduce his brand on the international stage with his upcoming Ajj Bassa Kaw masterpiece, produced by his label, Joluv Arts of Mr. Saul Sowe, a renowned music figure with more than two decades professional experience in the music business.

2015 has been a pivotal year for the rap star, having enjoyed a successful run at the top of music playlists in both radio and television stations in the country and most notably one of Senegal’s biggest entertainment media spot, TFM where he had an exclusive showcase of his spectacular stage performances.

Speaking to the press at his office, the Chief Executive Officer of Joluv Arts Entertainment, Saul Sowe, described Bai Babu as the brightest prospect that the Gambia has right now.

He said the launching will be staged at Paradise Suits Hotel and that the label is fully ready to host this memorable extravaganza.  He noted that his artist had recently returned from Senegal where he had some significant engagements, including a joint stage performance with Senegal’s mbalax star, Pape Diouf.

He said Bai Babu will soon be fully recognised internationally if he keeps up the momentum.

For his part, Bai Babu expressed delight with the project, calling it a catalyst in his journey to achieve his music goal.

He added that the event doesn’t need promotion as the fans are not new to his captivating vibes. He said the rehearsals with the band is at high gear and that during the launching, they will give the spectators nothing less than what a world class live band can offer.

Fellow Gambian stars like Manding Morry, Jali Madi, ST, Abou & Fafa, Tam 50, Flame Squad, Maha D Hamma, Lena B and a host of others are all lined up to perform at the event.
