Many thought they were the most adorable couples in the Senegambian music and entertainment industry.

But Mya Guissé and Abdou No-face, the couple better known as singing duo Maabo are getting a divorce after six years of marriage.

According to Senegalese media, Mya said she is done alleging that her husband was abusive towards her during their marriage. They have a daughter together, who they are obviously trying to protect from the stress of a divorce.

Both Mya and Abdou are yet to disclose whether they will continue recording music together.

The problems in their marriage came as a shock to many fans who keenly follow them on social media, where they have over 2,5 million followers including Gambians.
