American International University to move to new building soon!

After nearly six years at its current location along Kairaba Avenue, the American International University West Africa (AIUWA) is set to move to its new building before the end of this academic year.

While the exact date for the move-in has not been specific, it is expected that works at the building will end in July.

Speaking to What’s On-Gambia, the university’s president, Dinesh Shukla said: “The building will be fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

“At AIUWA, we don’t compromise with quality and this is why we are investing heavily in our new building.”

The AIU first opened in 2011 offering nursing degree programs.

The new building, which is located in Kanifing (opposite the GFF House), will feature eight labs and other facilities particularly designed for a tertiary educational institution.
