One Amie Bah, who allegedly stole over D3 million from her ex-boyfriend claimed she helped the man to "hammer her Austrian wife's head" - meaning to make the wife never stop giving him money.

Amie, who was furious over her ex-boyfriend's allegations that she stole his money, disclosed to What's On- Gambia: "I went to different marabouts to help him hammer his white woman's head, and that's why she was always giving him money."

The pair met on Facebook late last year and started dating. The man alleged he sent over D3m for Amie to buy land and build a house for him.

"I bought 3 plots for him in Jamburr and he has all the documents. I never stole his money. Instead of spreading lies against me, he should thank me for hammering the woman's head to give him money," she said.

Their online romance was short-lived. Amie is now married to a Dutchman that she met in The Gambia.
